Graphic Design Intern
The Opportunity
We are seeking an open-minded and ready to learn Graphic Design Intern to join our marketing agency and contribute to our exciting projects. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced marketing environment while working on real-world projects. We’re seeking a proactive, self-motivated individual who possesses a passionate desire to learn and refine their craft to join our team as a Graphic Design Intern. You will be working and mentored under our Graphic Design Manager, Alexis Gonzalez.
Job Title: Graphic Design Intern
Location: Chicago, IL – Office in Fulton Market/Hybrid
Timing: Fall 2024/Spring 2025 with possible extension to Summer 2025
Hours: Average of 10-15 hrs /week
Pay Range: $16-20 /hour based on experience
Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a graphic design or related program.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Proficient in Figma
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
- Basic knowledge of marketing concepts and trends.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Creative, proactive individual who can work well with others.
- Ability and willingness to follow established policies and procedures.
- Have either an online or physical portfolio with design samples.
Responsibilities:
- Graphic Design:
- Create visually appealing and effective designs for digital and print materials, including social media graphics, infographics, brochures, banners, and more.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling visuals that align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
- Graphic design included but not limited to: presentations, social media, photo editing,
- Content Creation:
- Assist in developing engaging multimedia content for various marketing channels, such as social media, email campaigns, and websites.
- Contribute to the creation of visually striking presentations and marketing collateral.
- Brand Consistency:
- Ensure consistency in design elements and brand messaging across all platforms and materials.
- Work closely with the marketing team to uphold and enhance the brand identity.
- Research and Trends:
- Stay updated on design trends, tools, and best practices in graphic design and marketing.
- Research competitors and industry trends to contribute fresh ideas to the team.
- Feedback and Collaboration:
- Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions, actively seeking feedback and incorporating it into design revisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality designs.

Student Ambassador
The Opportunity
Are you a fan of getting into a ready-to-drive vehicle without having to pay for gas? Do you have a passion for social media and marketing? Do you create content that captures attention and invites engagement? This fall, we’re looking for Zipcar student ambassadors to promote a service that lowers users’ monthly costs and emissions! We’re seeking dynamic students to represent Zipcar and engage with peers to spread the love for this all-inclusive service through vibrant content that represents your personality, your passions, and your campus.
Job Type: Part-Time (Four weeks), ~10 hours/week
Location: University of Michigan
Compensation: $200 per week ($800 total)
Application Deadline: September 13, 2024
Program Dates: September 16th – October 14th
Qualifications:
- Genuine and enthusiastic
- Active in campus clubs, groups, sports, and/or academics
- Active on social media and open to engage with peers
- Has a consistent social presence and voice & frequently shares nicely curated content on socials
- Outgoing, personable, and a strong communicator
- Minimum 1K followers on Instagram & willingness to post content
- Willing to have Instagram and TikTok visible to the public for duration of the program
- Branded posts must remain live on your social media pages for at least 3 months after the program ends
- No content and posting restrictions from external parties (i.e., fraternities, sororities, sports) that limit your ability to post Zipcar content on your profiles
Responsibilities:
- Student ambassador led tabling/pop-up event (Date & Time Flexible)
- Distribute Zipcar collateral materials on-campus
- Demonstrate the features and benefits of the Zipcar service in an enthusiastic and informative manner.
- Execute program deliverables independently within a flexible schedule over four active weeks.
- Serve as an on-campus leader for Zipcar brand awareness and collegiate marketing insights.
- Collaborate with up to one other ambassador on your campus (if you have a friend who would also like to apply, referrals are appreciated!).
- Create and post 4 pieces of content on Instagram for Zipcar over the course of the program.
- $200 per week stipend for the 4-week commitment (~10 hours/week, $800 total)

The Opportunity
We are looking for passionate students to help us out with special campus event this fall. As a Student Ambassador, you will be creating content, engaging your followers and promoting the spirit of exploration on campus.
Qualifications:
- Current college student at University of Colorado-Boulder or the University of Washington.
- Affinity for The North Face brand and its core values.
- Recognized as a leader and influencer within your community.
- Genuine connection to either urban or traditional outdoor exploration.
- Capable of engaging a diverse community of followers across various demographics.
- Strong content creation skills with a focus on quality and engaging storytelling.
- Strong sense of style.
- Follower count should be a minimum of 5k on TikTok.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and share content that aligns with The North Face brand values and campaign goals in the week leading up to the event.
- Re-share The North Face’s TikTok content leading up to and on the day of the event.
- Be onsite during the activation to capture content
- University of Colorado-Boulder: 9/26
- University of Washington: 10/3
- Execute promotional activities on campus, including distributing flyers and generating excitement for the activation.
- Provide insights on current trends and offer feedback to enhance brand connection with college audiences.
- Share social media metrics from your TikTok posts with your program manager.
